TWO BIG SHOWS AND THE CLUB'S A.G.M.

SUNDAY 7th MAY 2017
QACIS All Breeds Young Bird Garden Show to be held at Gary Gorman's home at 1 Cooba Court, Shailer Park, Brisbane. The birds are to be benched by 8.45 am.

SATURDAY 10th JUNE 2017
The ANNUAL SHOW will be held at the DECEPTION BAY COMMUNITY HALL on the corner of Bayview and Ewart Streets, Deception Bay.
For both northbound and southbound travellers, the ideal turn-off on the Bruce Highway is Exit 142. Please note that the show is held on a Saturday and that judging will commence at 9.00 am and all exhibits need to be benched prior to that time.

SATURDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2017
The Annual General Meeting of QACIS will be held at 1 Bellwood Court, Kiels Mountain commencing at 10.00 am. Please advise the Secretary if you plan to attend.

The Annual Show promoted by QACIS is an all breeds show where anyone who is a member of a canary club can exhibit birds. Shows such as this where 400 plus birds can be on exhibit are held in halls around South East Queensland. Such shows require a large amount of organising and needs many people to share in the effort of running a successful show. The following pictures give an idea of the need to setup the hall with appropriate tables and staging for the exhibits.
